The Retail Store technology operations team run a business critical support system, supporting areas such as point of sale, labor management, merchandising systems, and customer experiences within the physical stores, as well as the overall online infrastructure.

We are looking for a Retail Services IT Operations Manager in the Retail IT Operations team. This person will be responsible for the day to day support of IT technology and services utilized in the operation of the Physical and Online Retail Stores.

This role will:
• Drive incident and problem management for the physical and online store operations to ensure optimal availability of services and technology.
• Deliver continuous, measurable improvements to improve process quality and efficiency, reduce the duration of impactful incidents, drive root cause analysis and resolution to eliminate future occurrences, and control costs.  
• Work closely with peers across IT Operations to provide World class services to our retail customers
• Be accountable for the successful operations of IT services to the Retail Stores, through proactive identification and resolution of issues
• Collaborate with vendors/suppliers (i.e. helpdesk and L3/L4 Support) for integration of services, process and systems for both online and physical Retail Stores.
• Drive the design and development of scalable, flexible and manageable support practices.
• Ensure that the day to day technical operations of the Retail Stores meet SLA’s and issues are proactively addressed.
Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for managing the implementation and support of technology utilized in the end to end IT operations of the Microsoft Retail Stores. You will drive the success of this service and ensure continual improvement of the service to our customers through effective SLA service management and though partnering with 3rd party vendors to manage support needs.

You’ll be expected to have the capability to identify trends and issues and drive them to resolution. The ability to clearly communicate with internal business owners and external partners will be a key to your success. You must have a solid understanding of Retail Store infrastructure such as servers, network, specialized retail devices including mobile devices and audio visual technology. You should be able to apply real world experience to perform effective Operations Management.

Qualifications:
• Experience of Infrastructure Operations and the management of a reactive service support organization
• Interactive experience of an ITIL based Service Support operation
• Understanding of a retail business operation and the core infrastructure for a retail store.
• Technical breadth and understanding of the Microsoft platform and experience in operations of a Microsoft centric platform is a must.
• Understanding of Microsoft Retail solutions would be a plus.
• 5+ years Technical Operations or equivalent environments
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• MCSE certification would be a plus.
• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or engineering degree preferred
